History of Reyes Holdings

The multi-national company was founded in 1976 by two brothers, Chris and Jude Reyes. In 1976, the brothers purchased Dixie Systems in South Carolina and began the journey with Schlitz beer distributorship. In 1998, the company acquired Martin Brower and entered the food distribution industry. Reyes Holdings expands and purchased Reinhart Foodservice in 2015 in Wisconsin. In 2012, Reyes Holdings becomes the largest international distributor of McDonald’s with the acquisition of Keystone Foods into Martin Brower. In 2015, Gold Coast Beverage is acquired in Miami, solidifying Reyes Beer Division as the largest beer distributor in the United States. The same year, the company officially enters the Coca-Cola system with the granting of distribution territories in Chicagoland and acquires nine Coca-Cola production facilities in the Midwest the next year. In 2017, Reyes Holdings expands its Coca-Cola reach in the largest acquisition to date with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. In 2019, Reyes Holdings grows its Coca-Cola territory into Tennessee and Kentucky with the acquisition of Coca-Cola Bottling Works of Tullahoma. In 2020, Reyes Beer Division acquires several new distributors including their first territory in Indiana and locations spanning the entire state of California. Reyes Holdings remains a family-run business and has become one of the largest privately-owned companies in America.
