Rabbit Hole Distillery is a brand that produces super-premium and rich quality whiskey in the U.S.A. Pernod Ricard, the French spirits conglomerate company has officially launched the Rabbit Hole whiskey brand in the U.K. spirits markets. This launch marks a new step as the brand is getting its first European market release.
Pernod Ricard had gained majority stakes in the American whiskey brand in June 2019. Now, Rabbit Hole Whiskey is part of the group’s brand portfolio in the U.K.

Rabbit Hole is one of the fastest-growing super-premium American whiskey brands in the States. Pernod Ricard has “big ambitions” for American whiskey, the company’s vice-president of marketing, new brand ventures, told The Spirits Business in August 2020,” The Spirits Business announced.

Rabbit Hole Distillery’s two expressions will be officially released in the U.K. marking the new step- Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (The whisky bottling pays tribute to Christian Heigold. Christian Heigold is a German immigrant who settled in Louisville, Kentucky in the 1840s. Heigold was a trained stonecutter by profession. He built his manor house where he used his skills to carve beautiful renditions of his family, American Heroes, and symbols of patriotism.) and Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.
Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- A High-Rye Double Malt whiskey that is made from a mash bill containing- 70% Corn, 25% Malted Rye, and 5% Malted Barley.
- The whisky is matured for 3 years in toasted and charred American White Oak barrels crafted by Kelvin Cooperage.
- The whisky is bottled at 47.5% ABV/ 95 Proof.
- Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was voted Platinum at the 2021 SIP Awards.

- Aroma- Sweet Toasted Malt tones and Warm baking Spices

Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
- A Sour Mash Rye whiskey that is made of mash bill containing- 95% Rye and 5% Malted Barley.
- The whisky is bottled at 47.5% ABV/ 95 Proof.
- Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey won the Gold award and was titled “Best of Class” at 2019 World Wine & Spirits Competition, Gold award in SIP Awards 2021, and Gold award in 2017 International Spirits Competition at Los Angeles.

Heigold Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey and Boxergrail Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey are available to purchase in 750ml bottle format for a price of RRP £55(US$74.50 and RRP £49(US$66), respectively, from Master of Malt, Amazon, and The Whisky Exchange. In the on-trade, it can also be purchased from Speciality Drinks, Amathus, Venus, Coe Vintners, and Enotria.
Rabbit Hole Whiskey was founded in 2012 by Kaveh Zamanian. Kaveh Zamanian is also the company’s present whiskey maker. The Bourbon is made in small batches with less than 15 barrels per batch.
