Nothing's Virgin Here

Teeling Whiskey X Irish Whiskey X Renaissance Vintage Reserve Collection: Renaissance Series 4

The Dublin-based Teeling Whiskey Makers and Master distiller Alex Chasko, are back with another innovative Irish whiskey. The recent launch is the fourth expression of the Vintage Reserve Collection- Renaissance Series 4.

The fourth expression in the Renaissance series is followed by the first three award-winning releases, which earned gold awards at both the 2020 International Wine and Spirits Competition and the 2020 Irish Whiskey Masters.

“Here at Teeling Whiskey, we are renowned for our vision in doing things differently. Our Whiskeys embody this unconventional spirit with innovation at the core of everything we do. For us, it’s what’s inside the bottle that counts – we let the liquid do the talking, and our liquid has plenty to say.”

By The Distillery

The Teeling Renaissance series in the Vintage Collection celebrates the beginning of a new chapter in Irish Whiskey’s new Golden Era. The distillery is proud to present a limited series of Single Malt whiskies, celebrating the very best Teeling Whiskey has to offer.

The fourth Renaissance expression is the 18-Year-Old Single Malt that was aged initially in ex-bourbon barrels for over 16 years before being finished in high-quality ex-red Pineau des Charentes fortified wine casks. This imparts pressed grape and candied dried fruit flavors of apricot and pineapple character to the whisky. The bottling of the fourth edition is limited to just 9,000 bottles. The Single Malt is then bottled at 46% with no chill filtration for natural True character.

“We are honored to be launching the fourth release of our award-winning Renaissance Series,” “These releases are a celebratory bottling series that mark the true renaissance of Dublin as the epicenter for world-class, city-based whiskey distillation. These whiskeys have established themselves as the golden standard of Irish single malts over the last two years.”

Jack Teeling, Founder and Managing Director of Teeling Whiskey, said in a prepared statement.

“With one eye on the past, but looking to the future, we’re the new generation of Dublin distillers. We approach our craft with a respect for generations passed but with the confidence to forge the next chapter of Irish, Dublin and Teeling Whiskey.”

Stephen Teeling, the Co-Founder of Teeling Whiskey announced in a prepaid statement.

About Teeling Whiskey Distillery

The Teeling Whiskey Distillery story started when Walter Teeling set up a small craft distillery on Marrowbone Lane in the industrial heart of Dublin City in 1782. In 2012, the new generation of whiskey makers Jack and Stephen Teeling reopened the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery just down the road from where the original family distillery once stood. The Teeling Whiskey Distillery today is the first new distillery in Dublin for over 125 years.

They believe in making great Irish whiskies by coming tradition with innovation to let the people enjoy flavorful Irish whiskies. At the distillery, they experiment by varying the time, style, and the number of barrels used during the maturation process. This adds subtlety and complexity to flavors.  The distillery believes in giving the Irish whisky its unique true natural character. They have a whole range of product collections like The Small Batch Whisky, The Unconventional Collection, The Vintage Reserve Collection, and The Limited Edition Bottlings. They source sustainable raw materials and implement sustainable production processes where possible. The distillery achieved FEMAS accreditation in 2017 for the Spent Grain and Pot Ale. Teeling whiskey distillery is a verified Origin Green member. This pioneering program remains the world’s only national food and drinks sustainability program that drives sustainability improvements across the entire supply chain on a national level.

The Renaissance Series 4 is a new chapter in the Irish, Dublin, and Teeling Whiskey, an expression of stylish innovation with complex flavors. Taste the limited edition unique craftsmanship and richness in recent bottling. As the makers say, takes just a moment to sip, savor and enjoy!!!
