Vampiro

Recipe

  • 50 ml silver tequila
  • 70 ml tomato juice
  • 30 ml orange juice
  • 5 ml clear honey
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • Slices hot chili pepper
  • Few drops of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • Garnish- Maraschino cherry

In a shaker filled with crushed ice, combine all ingredients, starting with the juices and then tequila. Shake well. Pour spicy tequila mixture into a prepared. Garnish with a maraschino cherry. Serve with straw.

History

The Vampiro is claimed to have originated in San Luis Soyatlán, Mexico, created by fruit stand vendor Oscar Hernández and traditionally sold in clear plastic bags with a straw
