Recipe

• 60 ml brandy
• 30 ml Madeira
• 30 ml Curaçao
• 5 ml grenadine
• 1 egg yolk

Shake all ingredients with ice; then strain into a chilled wine glass.

History

A 1920s classic first made by Harry Craddock at the American Bar in London ‘s Savoy Hotel.
